Bio:

Coach McGhee has been passionate about baseball since he began in youth t-ball and coach pitch. When he joined the education world, he was able to use this passion to coach at the Junior Varsity and Varsity level. He found his knowledge and passion for technology combined with his love of baseball came together in the form of video analysis. Using the best technology to give tangible feedback to players striving to improve their swing, pitching, or position skills proved to be an invaluable tool.

In spring 2021 at the age of 3, his daughter began t-ball. He immediately saw the impact coaches can have at this age to give kids a true love of the game and begin teaching important fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. His passion for the game truly comes out when he works with the younger age group as he creates games and products that help young kids build confidence in the games of baseball and softball.

He now lives in the town of Hope Mills, NC with his family of 5. He, his wife, and 3 kids share a love of sports and games that we hope to share with the community.

He founded Play at the Plate NC in hopes of creating an enthusiasm for baseball among youth while building their confidence in their skills for the game.
